Leslie A. Klardie, DMD

New Providence NJ Prosthodotist Leslie A. Klardie, DMDDr. Leslie Ann Klardie is a 1990 Doctorate of Medical Dentistry recipient from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. With certifications to practice dentistry by the North East Regional Board of Dental Examiners, she immediately pursue additional Dental training in the Field of Prosthodontics at Emory University School of Dentistry in Atlanta, Georgia. In 1992 Dr. Klardie completed and received her Specialty Certificate in Prosthodontics.

Upon certificate completion, Dr. Klardie has been board eligible in the field of Prosthodontics. During her two year advanced prothodontic training, Dr. Klardie studied the dental disciplines of Removable dental prosthesis, Fixed Crown and Bridge, Cosmetic Dentistry, and Dental Implantology. Her advanced prosthodontic training included an internship in Maxillofacial Prosthodontics at the Veterans Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia. Dr. Klardie is a graduate of Temple University, where she has earned her undergraduate degrees in Sociology and Biology. Simultaneous to her undergraduate studies she was a Scholar Athlete and Team Captain of a Nationally ranked team in the Sport of Fencing.

Dr. Klardie is a Member of the American College of Prosthodontist and has held memberships with the American Dental Association and the American Academy of Implant Dentistry. With a lifelong commitment to learning, she is a member of Apex seminars, the New Jersey section of the Seattle Study Club and the International Team of Implantology.

Dr. Klardie has advanced training and certification from the following implant systems: Branemark/Nobel Biocare, Corevent, Sulzer, Paragon, Centerpulse, Calcitek, IMZ, Zimmer, 3i/Biomet, BioHorizon, Biolok, Straumann/ITI, Astra, Neoss, Bicon and Endopore, as well as Blade and Subperiosteal Implants.

Over the past 20 years of practicing Prosthodontics Dr. Klardie has advanced her skills in Esthetic Materials used in dentistry. Each year she completes hundreds of hours of Continuing education in seminars or online webinars. She holds multiple certificates in Botox and Facial Enhancements by the Esthetic Skin Institute, Inc., the Facial Beauty Institute and by the Academy of Comprehensive Esthetics.

Dr Klardie is a trained provider for Lumineers and Snap-on- Smile.

Dr. Klardie appeared on the cover of the 2010 New Jersey Monthly Magazine Top Dentist. She has been honored by her peers for the past three consecutive years as a top Prosthodontist in the state of New Jersey. The magazine surveys the practicing dental population in the state of NJ and asks them “Who would see to if you or your family member needed Prothodontic care?

Dr. Klardie, her husband, John, and son, Maxwell, are residents of Hunterdon County, NJ. Her family is active as members of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. Since 2002, Dr. Klardie and her family have supported the research for the cure for diabetes through annual fundraising with the Juvenile Diabetes Research foundation and Maxwell’s Team. Dr. Klardie has acted as an advocate for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation to help strengthen bonds between members of the US Congress and the community to aid in the fight against Juvenile (Type one) Diabetes.

Having a son with Juvenile Diabetes, Dr Klardie has instinctively incorporated her knowledge of a disease reaching epidemic proportion in the US to the dental treatment provided at Advanced Dentistry of New Providence.
